2024 Award Categories

Five (5) distinct category awards are up for grabs in 2024, each recognizing excellence and success in different aspects of the New Zealand-China business relationship. These categories are :

Auckland Airport Award for Contribution to the Growth of Chinese Tourism in New Zealand
Recognises innovative and successful businesses or initiatives that support the growth of tourism from China

NZTE Award for Trade between NZ and China (Small and Emerging Business Category)
Recognises those organisations excelling in exporting their product or service to China with a value under$10 million p.a.

Rockit Global Limited Award for Trade between NZ and China (Large Business Category)
Recognises those organisations excelling in taking their product or service to China or from China to New Zealand  with a value over $10 million p.a.

Comvita Limited Award for Innovation in Business between China and New Zealand
Recognizes those organizations that have developed and implemented innovative and creative solutions that have led to commercial success in China or New Zealand and in doing so demonstrated outstanding business leadership and resilience.

New Zealand China Council Award for Outstanding Contribution to the New Zealand - China Business Relationship
Recognises the achievements of an individual or organisation that has demonstrated long-term contribution through areas such as vision, commitment and/or success to either their organisation, industry or the overall New Zealand China relationship.

The 2024 Yili Group NZCTA Supreme China Business Award is chosen from the winners of the five above categories.

Additionally entries are welcome for the -

North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence (North Asia CAPE) Special Award for Emerging Leaders in Business between New Zealand and China.
Recognises an emerging leader who has made outstanding contributions in developing the business relationship between New Zealand and China.
